I'm now in my 11th year with the ministry of WayFM (part of Hope Media Group for the past 3 years), having spent the first 9 1/2 years managing our station in Fort Myers, FL. Core responsibilities included major gift fundraising, concert promotion and management, budget management and team leadership. I was re-assigned in July 2023 to Huntsville in the general manager role. My emphasis was on local promotions, while still supervising some Florida team members as I led our Alabama team. In July 2024, still as GM, my major emphasis became business development, working with WayFM’s Business Impact Partners, to generate revenue for the ministry. While it’s been some time since being in a sales role, this transition to business development (non-profit business underwriting) has felt very natural and has been extremely rewarding, adding several new partners and show sponsors.
