About Tom Tammany

Tom is a prominent health care attorney who represents a broad range of providers in that industry, primarily in transactional, regulatory, compliance and employment matters. With over 40 years of experience, clients have come to trust Tom's judgment, responsiveness, positive approach and creativity in helping his clients achieve their legal and business objectives. He regularly represents hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgery centers, physicians, and other health care providers in M&A transactions, JVs, government investigations, reimbursement and medical staff credentialing disputes. Prior to entering private practice, Tom gained valuable in-house experience as chief counsel of the University of Pennsylvania Health System, and earlier as associate general counsel of the Main Line Health System. He began his career as an associate in a labor/ employment law firm, after completing his service to our country as a Captain in the U.S. Army JAGC Corps. He was also U.S. Army Ranger qualified.
