I am thriving in my 'ikigai', and would love to support others in finding theirs: Since 2013, I have been on an entrepreneurial journey, turning a one-man coach start-up into a Benelux-wide venture with currently 6 Partners, a pool of ~25 experts, and a support team, together serving some of earth's largest organisations in private, public, and non-profit sectors. Before: BCG Consultant, INSEAD MBA, 12y Marketing roles in leading Telco & FMCG corporations SOME THOUGHTS / BELIEFS-'Der Fisch stinkt vom Kopf'- no change programme can be a success if senior leaders don't lead by example - Leadership development starts with Recruiting - Many Leadership initiatives have a terribly low ROI because they focus on transactional 'stuff', instead of on a transformational upgrade - There seems to be room to create far more synergies between 'hardware' programmes (Change Management / Business Transformation.) and 'software' programmes (Leadership interventions)- In our industry, price IS an indicator for quality - There is SO much talent in every pocket of our population, regardless of age/generation, ethnic background, educational record, etc etc- Hard work beats Talent, if Talent does not Work Hard HOW MY PARTNERS DESCRIBE ME- Inspiring / acts upon a vision - Dares to be very bold and provocative/asks one more question than what you might be used to - Easily works with very different people and totally comfortable to give the floor to others, and appreciating what they bring - Attentive and relational; remembering personal stuff and asking how things are developing or bringing boxes of chocolates ALSO- Married with 4 kids in a mosaic family - Supporter of SOS Children's Villages and WYSE NGOs since 2013 - Strong European languages skills - You had me at jazz, contemporary photography, being on the road, and fine dining!
