Chief Operating Officer, Small Business Consulting Corporation (SBCC) and Major General (retired), United States Air Force Integrates and oversees all SBCC lines of effort (LOE), including Commercial Engagement & Integration, Educaton, Wargaming, and Data Engineering & Management. Leads all support staff efforts supporting company LOEs and provides program management, budget authority, Human Resources, Strategic Communications/Marketing, Information Protection, and Information Technology services to SBCC and its subsidiaries. Dual hatted as the Chief of Commercial Engagement and Integration, through Strategic Partnerships with the US Air Force, I help the Department of Defense find and connect with innovative companies to help transition their best technologies for the nation's most critical defense missions. SBCC focuses on aligning partners to create a collaborative environment where entrepreneurs, industry, small businesses, startups, and capital intersect to spark innovation, build community, and create investment in technologies, services, products, production or processes, to enable the US military to better defend the nation. Prior to joining the SBCC team, I served as the Commander, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center. I am a 30-year Air Force Veteran who has been blessed my entire career, being the first Security Forces Officer to command an Operational Missile Wing, fly as an Airborne Emergency Action Officer on USSTRATCOM's Airborne Command Post, be hired as a Major Command (Air Force Global Strike Command) Director of Plans, Programs & Requirements and later fill the Director, Operations & Communications position. In my last role as the Air Force’s City Manager, I led the Department of the Air Force Global Installation & Mission Support (I & MS) Enterprise-supporting 83 worldwide Air & Space Force Installations with a 3,800 person-strong Innovative Team and an annual budget of $10B in all areas of Mission Support including Civil Engineering, Security, Services & Installation Contracting; responsible for $300B in infrastructure and all I & MS data management, innovation ecosystem, planning, programming & budgeting, and all morale, welfare & recreation programs. I am a career Security Forces (Police) Officer with expertise in nuclear security, physical security, air base defense, antiterrorism, convoy operations, law enforcement & community policing, and all associated operational requirements, planning, programming and budgeting. I successfully commanded at the Security Forces Group and Squadron Levels.
