Experienced Finance Director and finance professional with a proven track record of helping SME businesses grow, raise funding and when the time is right help owners/shareholders to exit the business, using financial and performance information to drive business growth and improvement. Currently Head of Commercial Finance at Moneyhub, the market leading open data platform. Providing software and API links for open banking, open finance and open data solutions to clients around the world. My role is to be the link between the commercial teams and finance, providing the various commercial teams with key finance and non financial data to help make strategic decisions and drive growth, well making life easier for finance by making sure they get the data they need for statutory purposes. Previous roles include Finance Director at fellow tech businesses Doodle learning and TalkLife Ltd, Finance Director at The Shaker Kitchen Company and Head of Finance at People Source Limited. Responsible for improving management financial reporting to improve strategic decision making, overseeing the financials, managing the finance teams, raising working capital and undertaking performance analysis/interpretation to assist business owners and management. Key member of the senior management teams responsible for setting the long term strategy and making decisions for the future of the business.
