About Tom Wyatt

I'm a recent Physics graduate from the University of York who has just completed a move to London to start my career. I have various skills that range from sales to data analytics to strong interpersonal communication. I developed these through my time at University where I competed at college and national levels in football and motorsport respectively, whilst also founding and running a new society that gained lots of traction early in it's inception - and it continues to thrive today. This endeavour gave me a passion for interpersonal communication and client facing situations. A lot of my skills were developed through my University course, which involved working with data in the laboratory. Here we would collect and analyse experimental data, documenting our work as we went along. This culminated in a final year project where I developed a reaction-wheel stabilisation system for a RNLI rescue craft, all aspects of this project had to be documented and a final report presented to experts in the field. My strong problem solving skills were developed through all aspects of the degree, including the modules on different topics in Physics. Plasma physics, Astrophysics and Quantum Physics are all examples of some of these topics. I am currently looking for work in London in a role that compliments my transferrable skills.
