About Tomas Kasemets

As Co-Founder and CTO of cleverwatt, I lead the development of our Energy Co-Pilot, a platform designed to empower SMEs to reduce energy costs and minimize their environmental impact. Our Co-Pilot analyzes individual energy data to identify savings potential and supports the implementation of optimization measures across electricity, heat, and mobility sectors. At cleverwatt, we are on a mission to simplify the complexities of the energy market, making it easy for businesses to thrive by contributing to the energy transition. Previously, at LADE.de, I led an agile team in creating an AI-driven energy management system that synchronized electric vehicle charging with renewable energy sources, with AI tailoring each charging process to users' mobility needs. My core competencies in agile development, data analysis, and leadership were critical in driving these innovations. Together with top-tier institutes and companies within the BiFlex-Industry project, we worked to transform company fleets into virtual power plants. Holding a PhD in Particle Physics from the University of Hamburg, I combine rigorous scientific methodology with dynamic leadership to push technological boundaries in the renewable energy sector. Formerly a coach for the Dutch national floorball team, I apply proven coaching techniques to enhance team productivity and innovation. My goal is to drive substantial and quantifiable improvements in how we harness social and technical innovations to sustain our planet. My personal goal is to leverage social and technological innovations to impact the transition to a sustainable and more resilient society.
