I like systems that scale, don’t break under pressure, and ideally. understand binary. Keeping the lights on across all CDN77’s services - from storage and processing to delivery and edge computing - is my job. I’m Tom, VP of Engineering at CDN77 and one of the original architects of our global stack. I hold a Master’s in Computer Security, but I’ve always leaned more toward building. These days, that means leading the teams behind the world’s most efficient content delivery platform which serves over 1 billion unique users in 24 hours. Over the past few years, I’ve been shaping our global infrastructure, streaming backend and other systems to handle billions of requests per day without blinking. I still keep my hands dirty when I can, especially if debugging Linux is on the table. If it’s about infra, performance, or for example low-latency streaming at scale, I’m probably into it. My current focus is on MOQ and security.
