About Tomas Manon

Hello, I go by Atomik (Tomas Manon), I have experience in Fine Arts and Breaking, Emceeing, and Graffiti Art of the Hip Hop Culture. I do Live Art, or Live Painting at different venues and events for music bands from Rock to Hip Hop throughout New York, The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. In a few shows, my siblings and I have integrated dance, music, and art. Our Fine Arts was a mixture of Graffiti and Hip Hop music. Music was at the core of our work. Our art exists where music is born. We have performed at Album Release parties. My brother (Instagram:@jorgematarrita), sister (Instagram:@marthalicia), and I were known collectively as the M-Squared Art Crew or M-Squared Art Productions (2006-2013) and myself, independently from 2013 to present (Instagram:@tomasmanon). At shows, I would throw down or Break to the music; at other shows, I would Beat-box or Rhyme with fellow MC's and get lyrical. To hear my music, I go by Atomik I used to go by Hyku, Hyku White Horse, or Hykumaster, around 2006-2008, but time changed and I evolved, artistically. My name now is permanent. It was given to me by well respected Break Masters, Rokafella and KwikStep of Full Circle I remain with them to this day. Currently working as an afterschool teaching artist, now remotely, since 2013, part-time for Arts & Literacy. Atomik
