About Tomas Mlcoch

As I'm INTJ (this is really something you should understand if you want to communicate/work with me - trust me, it is dealbreaker), I have usually my own vision how to achieve goals and it's in my nature to trying to grasp all possible relations and consequences in work, which I'm doing. I was always oriented on the computers, chosen technical school which was focused on application of IT in 2007 started in corporation as on-site support, trying to get myself oriented in big company and gain experience. Quite soon I decided that I simply want to do more useful work and applied more automation. Then became consultant, still in operation team, but trying to make improvements and decrease human effort which was required. Later on I got opportunity to move into banking/retail oriented corporation, where i took role of retail application administrator of internally developed retail solution in dedicated project. I worked there since October 2012, within areas of DevOps/ troubleshooting/operations/CSI/design and I’m constantly trying to improve/automate/monitor what I can with tools I have or with tools I can code myself. Since 2022 i started with could environment in Microsoft Azure, performing automation using Azure DevOps (currently with Github Actions due to Azure DevOps EOL) with goal of integration tools/frameworks like docker, helm, terraform, ArgoCD to create complex automated containerization platform. If you gain my loyalty, I will go great lengths for you, but if you betray it, I won't look at you ever again. Also it is not possible to make me subdue to any kind of micro-managemet or try to make me do meaningless/repetetive work. If you think about me as "resource", I won't think anything of you at all as you are not worth of my time. I do not acknowledge authority if that authority is not competent. And lastly, please, I'm not looking for position as developer (as I'm getting lot of these offers) I have it as hobby, I don't mind using coding/scripting skills to reach some goal at work, but I don't want to write code on daily basis. if you read all above, you probably understand that I always speak my mind, even if truth may not be pleasant to hear. if you can't handle it, don't bother, I certainly won't miss you 🤷‍
