I'll tell you how it all started I've loved writing lyrics since my first strokes with a pen. But don’t get me wrong – I wasn’t a young genius! I got that pen as the last student in my class in the first grade. My handwriting was awful, and my report cards were full of Cs. I only got through high school by writing "choppy" poetry that no one ever saw. Thank God for that! I ended up studying philosophy at Charles University, where they finally had sympathy for me - they kept me busy with dozens of challenging texts and ordered me to write dozens more papers – some amazing, some mediocre, and some below average. As a fresh philosophy graduate, I immediately dove into building the marketing strategy for my translation agency Meriva Translations, and within 10 years I had moved it from the dining room table to a professional agency. Today, hundreds of renowned companies and prestigious universities work with the agency: Hermès, Copy General, Fender, Czech Television, Campiri, Gooddata, etc. Charles University, Masaryk University, University of Ostrava, Czech Technical University, etc. Thanks to an intensive content strategy, I've increased Meriva's blog traffic from to unique users per month in just a few years. As a result, our profits grew by tens of percent year-on-year. I am now a freelance copywriter, ideamaker and content strategist. I regularly work for advertising and creative agencies, as well as private companies and individuals.
