About Tomas Seijo

After moving to North Carolina from Florida to pursue my teaching career, I bought my first piece of real estate in West Asheville in 2003. I had learned from my Cuban immigrant father that home ownership was an important part of the American Dream. Even though I was struggling with a teacher’s salary, I took the plunge and put everything I had into that house. I didn’t realize it then, but I had just made a move that would impact my life forever. The value of that home rose steadily over the next seven years. During that time I got married, started a family and learned a thing or two about homeownership. When my wife and I decided to challenge our marriage and build a house together we purchased land and designed a new home from scratch. When our second child arrived, we quickly outgrew our custom built home and accepted our next challenge; remodeling an older home. We spent many days and nights installing floors, building interior walls, and completing dozens of other renovation tasks that turned our latest investment into our forever home. My quest to learn more about real estate led me to the rental housing market in the Asheville area. I have experience as a property manager of both market rate and affordable housing. As your agent, I want to share all of the knowledge I have accumulated with you and help you realize your dreams.
