About Tomas Stankevicius

My carrier with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Dynamics 365 Business Central) started from year as the developer. Taking various roles related to Microsoft Dynamics NAV like developer, consultant, project manager, product manager (different add-ons) and marketing manager gave me an opportunity to see product from various perspectives. Working within end customer, partner and Microsoft companies allow me faster understand specific situations and needs on all sides, possibility to see them from different angles. All experience I got allow me to successfully lead development team, support people, engage people to follow newest technologies as well help me to keep learning every day which is very important in IT world. During my carrier at Microsoft I also had an opportunity to touch other products like Microsoft CRM (was Microsoft CRM product marketing manager for Baltic countries), Microsoft Axapta (currently Microsoft Dynamics 365 F & SCM), Microsoft SharePoint and other popular Microsoft products and technologies. Year 2014 I started to learn cloud services (Microsoft Azure) and currently I can say I understand how differ "on premise","on cloud" and SaaS implementations, when any of them can be suggested as well know from technical side on how those can be installed and setup. Since 2010 I work at Companial. Companial (formerly 1ClickFactory and QBS) is a partner for Microsoft Dynamics partners and also Microsoft license distributor. During those years I was working as a senior developer, then leading the team which is now the biggest technical team in Companial, later leading the team while creating unique product for the market which is still used by a lot of Dynamics partners. Today my role is to lead a team of professionals in building unique platform for Companial partners. Having 25+ years of experience in Dynamics business, I can say I'm on a mission to make platform easy to use and powerful with relevant and up-to-date tools for partners. My understanding of technologies, eagerness to innovate and business understanding help me to manage stakeholders, collect business needs, prioritize them based on company vision and strategy as well provide all needed information to developers in an easy to understand and implement way. As I'm a fan of Agile for many years (even before Companial) so I can manage company investments into innovations by being flexible as well achieving relevant results.
