About Tomas Straka

What do I enjoy most about my work? Letting machines handle the boring stuff. 🤖Officially, I ensure our mobile network runs smoothly and reports accurate data. But in reality? I spend most of my time building automated systems to crunch that data for us. Instead of staring at spreadsheets, I’d rather write a Python script or spin up containers in Kubernetes. CI/CD and Git are my close allies.I love a modern stack – Kafka, ELK, Grafana, InfluxDB. that’s where I’m in my element. And when I’m not dealing with network ops, I’m working on my PhD, researching how to use Digital Twins to make radio signal coverage predictions faster and more accurate. I enjoy networks, I enjoy data, and I love finding ways to do things smarter. My favorite project? Time series anomaly detection.
