I’ve completed Core 1, Core 2, Assurance, and Taxation, and bring a grounded, real-world mindset to everything I do, shaped by years of hands-on experience and a strong commitment to integrity and accountability. My professional path began long before my formal education. Before I studied accounting, I learned how to rebuild fences in the rain, fix a tractor on the fly, and care for livestock during long winters on our family’s beef farm. It taught me real-world problem-solving, the kind that no textbook or formal education can truly offer. That foundation shaped my work ethic, adaptability, and ability to thrive under pressure, qualities that continue to guide me in my professional career today. Currently at Rutwind Brar LLP, I’m involved in compilation, review, and audit engagements across diverse industries, along with corporate and personal tax preparation. My early experience in payroll, bookkeeping, and GST filing gave me a full-cycle understanding of small business operations, which helps me spot inefficiencies and refine processes with accuracy and consistency. Whether I’m troubleshooting a technical issue or improving a workflow to enhance efficiency, I focus on delivering thoughtful, accountable work with long-term value.
