About Tomasz Jedwabny

Radca Prawny (qualified in Poland) and Solicitor (qualified in England and Wales) Main areas of expertise: banking, infrastructure finance/project finance, public financing, derivatives and credit institutions and investment firms regulation. Tomasz had been a member of a finance practice at Clifford Chance, Warsaw with a focus on capital markets and finance law. He was seconded to Clifford Chance, London in 2006 where he joined a capital markets group and subsequently, a financial regulation/structured finance group. He stayed on a permanent basis with Clifford Chance, London. In 2008, Tomasz went on a 7-month secondment to a legal department of Morgan Stanley where he was involved in a variety of projects with a main focus on enforceability of netting and collateral. In 2009, Tomasz moved on secondment to the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg where he was providing legal advice in respect of the EIB's operations, in particular in the areas of infrastructure finance, project and municipal financing, in close co-operation with the business, risk management and treasury departments. In January 2011, Tomasz returned to Poland re-joining the banking department of Clifford Chance and Clifford Chance CEE Energy and Infrastructure Group. In August 2011, Tomasz moved to the banking department of CMS Cameron McKenna where he became partner in 2013. Tomasz left CMS in 2014 to set up its own consultancy. During his career, Tomasz has gained extensive knowledge of numerous financial instruments including project finance, infrastructure lending, capital markets and derivatives. In addition, as a result of his co-operation with the EIB and Morgan Stanley, Tomasz has developed excellent understanding of the business needs and risk management which allows him for a better assessment and communication with the representatives of other professions involved in the specific transactions.
