Background

About Tomasz Romanowski

I am an experienced product manager and head of product management teams, with over 20 years of experience in payments, with a particular focus on payment cards. I have implemented numerous innovative products and solutions.I have been leading projects that involved identification and analysis of market needs and opportunities, followed by implementation of products never seen before.Being a Product Manager and Head of product departments I have contributed to development and adaptation of our product offer to market needs and (mostly regulatory) requirements. My strong analytical skills, combined with good market overview, let me identify any trends, needs or niches and take decisions regarding our product offer. My flexible approach to implementation processes is perfectly aligned with the needs of innovation - implementation of completely new product lines and services, not necessarily compatible with existing project implementation processes. All this backed with a strong awareness of existing and planned regulatory requirements in the broad area of payments.I am motivated by a need to look for new, convenient and safe payment methods, keeping in mind that „people want to buy, not pay”.My main professional goal is to introduce products and services that stand out due to their convenience, security and reliability.Outside of my professional life, I am a traveller and photographer, constantly attempting to combine those two, with a hint of my love of fountain pens and handwriting.
