Dr. Tomaz Crochemore, MD, PhD is a Critical Care physician, specialist by the Brazilian Medical Association of Intensive Care Medicine (AMIB). Bachelor of Medicine from the Federal University of state of Rio de Janeiro/ Brazil. Medical residency training in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. PhD and Master's degree in health science, on coagulation disorders in the critically ill patients from Faculdade Israelita de Ciências da Saúde Albert Einstein - FICSAE. Last position as head of intensive care units at the Leforte Group. Researcher in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis, patient blood management, peroperative bleeding, coagulation disorders in critically ill patients, and Emergency Medicine. He has great experience with Liver Transplantation, Trauma, Cardiac Surgery, Post partum hemorrhage, and ECMO. He is part of the Faculty Team - DUK Seminar on Patient Blood Management - Austria. Fellow at the University of Zurich with Professor Donat Spahn - PBM and POB, trauma and cardiac surgery.
