About Tommaso Bencini

I am manager with a university degree in "Business Administration" a Master in “Luxury brand management” and "e-commerce and supply chain"; over 25 years of experience in marketing, sales and supply chain. In the first 10 years of my career, I worked in marketing for leading companies in the "architectural lighting","interior furniture" and "leisure vehicles" sectors, growing up to cover the role of Marketing Manager and Trade Marketing Manager. In 2006 I joined the Danish group Demant.com (world leader in the healthcare sector) as Trade Marketing Manager and I gained important experience both in the development of commercial networks (independent customers) and of the group's chains (over 100 stores with two brands). In 2016 I was asked to take care of the development of a BU as Brand Manager and then in 2018 to become Sales Manager of the main brand of the group. In January 2021, I have been appointed Supply Chain Manager Italy for the Demant group for a special project: optimizing processes (in conjunction with the introduction of the new management system, CRM and B2B web shop) and reducing costs (purchases and stock management). Since January 2023 I have been appointed Brand Manager responsible for the launch of the new Philips Business Unit in Italy. I have skills in the management of human resources (team working, training and coaching) and in the reorganization of working groups. I know the B2B and B2B2C channels and I have dealt with the introduction of advanced CRM systems, the creation of B2B online sales systems and I have promoted international projects of "Sales Excellence" and "Retail Development". I believe in dedication and ethics; when these values are shared by your workgroup, any result becomes possible. When I'm not working, I dedicate myself to my wife and two children and, in the short time that advances, to friends.
