About Tommi Piispa

I help customers to get most out of our applications and digitalizing they processes. My role focuses on global clients & customer especially in Marine sector like shipyards and engineering companies in both pre- and post-sale activities. I have worked CADMATIC Electrical since 2007 and my role have covered a lot of different tasks like support, training, testing and specifying development needs. Nowadays I’m working worldwide with our Marine customers in North America, Europa, and Far East. I have always been solution oriented engineer who want, like our value says – constantly improving. Our other value – Succeeding together, fit my values and philosophy as well. In my training and consultations I want also listen customers very carefully. This way we can together find best possible way to the goal. My CADMATIC career have two stints. After first 6 years in company, I wanted to use more my electrical education and I moved to lighting manufacture as technical specialist. Lighting have always been my another passion. But even how good that company was and how fun I had, I still somehow felt that my project with CAD-application is not finished and my heart was in this business, so I came back 2015. We are still in that journey. Working in these different positions have given me the opportunity to see how various tasks could come together and I have learned a lot about customer service, co-operations and also presentation skills. It helps a lot that my background is in the engineering world, so I still can feel togetherness with our customers. It’s always a nice feeling, when I can guide our customer to the correct path with our application. And really nice to see how they have managed to use software to make they own work more efficient.
