About Tommy Wright
Started out in the textiles industry doffing cloth, then became a pattern card hanger before becoming a weaver. I weaved a few years and went into fixing and through out the years I have worked on Somet, Sulzer Ruti, Dornier, G6500 and now on the Itema R9500 and the R9500v2 rapier looms. The last 15 years I have been over weaving PM’s and tracking/ ordering parts. Through out the years I have created a relationship with lots of weaving vendors. Since 2008 I have over seen loom installations. I have installed 220cm, 320cm and 360cm Dornier rapier looms and also 360cm R9500. The last few years install 230cm R9500v2 looms. Just completed my 25th year at Seamancorp.
