About Tomoki Uruma

Thank you for visiting! I have two big interests - mobility and batteries. This comes from my engineering degree at the University of British Columbia, with an exchange at University of California Los Angeles. I got exposed to next generational batteries and MEMS sensors during my 2 internships at Bosch (Tokyo and Germany HQ). Batteries are our next oil - and I do believe this will impact our life in the next few decades. • Developing and analysing the next generational MEMS Sensors, the SMA sensors. • In charge of the Centrifuge Laboratory in the team to execute experiments under high-G centrifugal accelerations and use evaluation programs to analyse sensor specifications. Completed a summer internship at Advanced Technology Corporate Research Division at Bosch Corporation. • Designed and programmed an autonomous program to analyse E-mobility performance in Matlab/Simulink. • The autonomous program reduced at least 10 hours of data processing and was recently published to other office locations internationally.
