I've been a teacher for 30 years - the last 20 in Columbus, Wisconsin, my hometown. I have recently been certified to teach Dual Credit Courses (Written Communication and Oral Interpersonal Communication) through Madison College. Prior I've taught in Pewaukee, WI; St. Francis, WI; Rio, WI; and Random Lake, WI. I've enjoyed teaching English and speech communication as well as coaching volleyball, softball, and basketball. I've directed plays and musicals, as well, the most recent was our high school production of The Sound of Music. I've enjoyed researching and planning curriculum for our English department and my classes. I've also enjoyed advising many clubs and activities in our high school. Building relationships with kids helps with the "buy in" for academics - that's my solid belief!
