About Toni Rieger

End of 2016 - June 2017 During my time at KOKI Transmission Systems, I had the privilege to work on a major project where we successfully put up a production line for a car transmission system in Germany. My role in this endeavor was versatile and demanding, and it included: • Visiting machine suppliers for inspection and functional testing of ordered machines • Discussing adjustments and improvements of machine design • Supporting the machine suppliers during buildup of the machines and first runs • Leading a small team of professionals in adjusting and optimizing the machines • Supporting the logistics for the upcoming relocation of the production line to Wuhan July 2017 - February 2019 I accompanied the relocation to China, initially via regular long-time business trips. During this time, my tasks included: • Assisting the arrangement of machine layouts and necessary infrastructural preparations • Assessing neighboring raw material suppliers • Supporting machine suppliers during machine setup • Participating in and occasionally leading shop floors • Recording machine data information • Training and instructing local staff in using machines of the production line March 2019 - Now After the successful relocation, I permanently moved to Wuhan and signed a local working contract as a Mechanical Process Engineer. In my current role, my duties involve: • Systematically monitoring machine problems, locating and solving them • Training and instructing new arriving staff members such as machine operators and engineers • Guiding visiting customers through the production line • Creating work instructions • Working out solutions for operational and logistical problems • Cooperating with machine suppliers during downtimes, planned machine upgrades, and IT problems • Installation and optimization of arriving machines for new projects
