About Tonia Wright

With over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, I am a coding and claims supervisor who is passionate about improving the revenue cycle for multiple clients. I have a strong background in coding, billing, and insurance claims, and I have successfully implemented best practices, quality reviews, and provider education. I spent eight years managing the entire revenue cycle from patient registration to self pay collections. My passion is working with the revenue cycle or specifically AR. I have experience in identifying and trending denials, denial resolution, writing appeals, problem solving, and strong leadership skills. At IPM, I oversee the daily responsibilities of coding and charge entry for the Central Region, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and compliance. I also monitor and report key performance indicators, such as charge lag, denials, and AR, and I initiate and complete interfaces with new facilities. I work closely with the providers, administrators, and leadership to resolve any issues and provide feedback and guidance. Additionally, I supervise colleagues, conduct meetings, and manage timecards and performance reviews.
