About Tony Borgic

After graduation from Nashville Auto-Diesel College (now Lincoln Tech) I went to work as a technician for a Freightliner dealership, a medium size fleet and then finally in 2007 Gateway Volvo. I worked as a tech until 2014, earning my Volvo Master Tech certificate and helping start the triage diagnostic program along the way. In 2014 I was offered the chance to move into the sales side of the business. After 13 years of keeping trucks on the road, I am very much enjoying putting them there. Specing a truck for its individual job is important. Trucks are not cookie cutter. Every business and trucking field is a little bit different. After seeing first hand as a tech the differences a truck can make when built for a specific fleet and specific job, the importance of building a truck to equal the job it needs to do has become immeasurably important to me. Now in my management position, I get to share that knowledge and build a team that can do the same. There are few industries with better people than trucking. Often with generations of families carrying on and building trucking traditions. Being in the business of customer service, that makes for a fun day.
