About Tony Browne

Tony has been with Merrill Lynch since 1998 and is an accredited institutional consultant with the Merrill Lynch Global Institutional Consulting Group. Tony has served on The Merrill Lynch Trust Company Non-Profit Advisory Council, a group of the firm’s most experienced advisors for nonprofit organizations. He currently serves on the Advisory Council to Management (ACTM) board for the Merrill Lynch Global Institutional Consulting Group. Tony is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Tony has been a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). Tony received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland's College of Business & Management in 1979, and his MBA degree in Finance from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business Administration. In 2008, Tony completed the Endowment Institute program at the Yale University School of Management. Tony has been married to Margaret Bell from County Down, Northern Ireland since 1984. They have two children, Conor and Mary. Tony is an active member of various nonprofit boards and church ministries that focus on providing educational opportunities and affordable housing for inner city children and their families. He has served on the Planned Giving Advisory Board for The Archdiocese of Newark and the Business Advisory Board at Monroe College in New York. He currently serves as a board member and league director of Street 2 Street Paterson.
