I was a man and boy with Marks & Spencer. I'm a people's person, I love having a team and building something. Best training doing the job - I used to know every SKU, every checkin line (You had to in case the chairman came in and tested you on how many socks we'd sold that week.) After working in stores, divisional role within the M25, in head office, and then Food division restructuring and transforming the supply chain I was part of a team who set up what would become the Simply Food network, which M&S would focus on once I'd left to go into consulting and then Microsoft. Microsoft who were just going into retail, at that time, their partnership model was more interesting, which attracted me to K3. I joined K3 to look at markets and structure and grew the retail division reporting into the Board. So, I've become 'the retail guy' at K3,(Good ROI on my MBA!)
