About Tony Haley

At least live to Retirement after that who cares". This had been my mantra for a good while, it was a little brash perhaps. However it does have a flaw, which is, as one gets nearer to retirement and still finds oneself swinging away on ones perch, one begins to think that the Almighty fellow may not be keeping up his side of this bargain, by setting too and knocking me off my bloody perch. Which is a bit of a bummer really, and a condition I was sort of banking on. I have always considered myself as, you know, some sort of bumbling idiot. Who in life would stumble along bumping into all sorts of disasters but still manage to struggle out with every one else, unscathed and with whatever it was we were messing about with, actually working! I never understood it, but it seemed to happen on a pretty regular basis and there were even some people who were either happy with it, or who were delusional or extremely charitable vis-a-vis I have generally remained in employment. So now as time inexorably moves on I am faced with, what the hell am I going to do with this pending blank space in my life? Bumbling into retirement, does not sound like something a former Project Manager should be doing.
