About Tony Hulton

With over 20 years of work experience in humanitarian, development, and corporate sectors, I am a passionate and strategic leader who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of people in need. As the Chief Executive Officer of Walking With The Wounded, a UK-based charity that supports wounded veterans and their families, I lead a team of dedicated and talented professionals who share our vision of supporting veterans to achieve independence and reintegrate into society. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the organization, having worked in various roles and contexts across the globe, from military service to international relations to corporate affairs.Before joining Walking With The Wounded in June 2023, I was the Group Director of ESG and Corporate Affairs at Daraz, an Alibaba Group Company that operates e-commerce platforms in South Asia. In this role, I was responsible for overseeing and advancing the company's environmental, social, and governance agenda, as well as managing its external and internal communications, public policy, and stakeholder relations. I leveraged my skills in humanitarian assistance, stabilization, and operations to drive the company's sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate governance initiatives, and to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and trust among the employees, customers, partners, and regulators.
