About Tony Hutton

I oversee the day-to-day investment management for Halter Ferguson Financial (HFF) clients. Additionally, my I am proficient in various options strategies to include concentrated position management. I've spent seven of my twenty years in the industry focusing on the options markets, three of those years at the CBOE®. Previously I directed research for Quantitative Advantage (QA). My research was integral to comprehensively answering some of the most difficult questions related to QA's system of equities management. Topics I tackled ranged from how the company trades exchange traded funds (ETFs) on behalf of clients to maintain its fiduciary responsibility of minimizing trading costs to where, from across the globe, economic growth would likely come in the future. My research led to many changes in how QA manages portfolios. Along with this research came opportunities to present not only my findings but the QA proprietary management system to advisor clients.
