Background

About Tony Janey

I am an experienced leader in purchasing, operations, and compliance roles. In each of these areas I have built teams / developed team members, defined roles, and created processes. I enjoy working with my teams on professional development and work with them to move on to their next steps and maintaining relationships with them in their new roles.I am driven by a curiosity of how things work and seeking connections. I utilized this while participating in an SAP implementation, mapping existing practices to those of a new system. This resulted in me becoming the organization’s expert in material master, vendor master, and purchasing processes such as PO creation. I strive to strike a balance between system /process and maintaining the ability to innovate and contribute in a unique way.During my career I have also developed a reputation as a problem solver and hard worker. I seek a role in purchasing leadership that will allow me to develop both processes and people to move the organization forward.CliftonStrengths: Ideation | Strategic | Command | Significance | Futuristic
