I got my start in the ditch, boots on, hands dirty, learning the work from the ground up. That experience didn’t just shape my skills; it lit the fire that still drives everything I do today. I’ve built my career on bridging the gap between field realities and technical solutions that actually work.As NiSource’s original GPS Survey Technician, I helped build the GPS program from the ground up. I selected hardware, designed data dictionaries, and developed the Unity app that is now used across multiple states. My work supports PHMSA traceability requirements, improves pipeline safety, and raises the bar for data integrity and operational efficiency.I specialize in creating mobile-first workflows that actually work for the people using them. I’ve spent years in the field, so I understand the real-world challenges crews face when collecting data. That experience drives me to build GPS tools that are practical, reliable, and easy to use. Trimble Unity is my specialty, but I’m also highly proficient in Locusview. I’ve spent significant time building forms and workflows in Locusview and am fully comfortable creating solutions within the platform. Whether I’m designing workflows, troubleshooting GNSS hardware, or training internal and external teams, my focus is always on usability, accuracy, and scalability.I’ve led cross-functional efforts that reduced excavation damages by 47 percent, streamlined One Call mapping across three states, and unified GPS workflows company-wide. I’ve coached contractors through audit failures, collaborated with engineering and compliance teams, and presented at industry conferences to share what works and what doesn’t.I thrive in fast-paced environments where innovation meets impact.
