About Tony Quick

With 10 years of experience in agricultural research, I have developed expertise in crop trials, nutrient management, and the integration of new technologies into modern agronomy. For six years, I managed the DL Seeds Saskatchewan branch, where I led a small team conducting small plot canola research trials, ensuring high-quality data collection and advancing canola breeding and development. Following this, I served as a Research Associate at Rack Petroleum, where I conducted fertility and micronutrient trials designed to improve agronomic practices and support grower success. These roles have provided me with a strong foundation in both applied field research and practical agronomy, with a consistent focus on delivering meaningful results. In recent years, my work has expanded into agricultural technology, with a particular focus on drone applications, multispectral imaging, orthomosaic map development, and emerging digital tools. I am committed to advancing research methods by integrating these technologies to improve data accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making in the field. By combining two decades of traditional agricultural research with forward-looking innovations, I continue to drive progress in crop production, sustainability, and the adoption of agtech solutions.
