About Tony Schultz

As the State Director for the Nebraska SBDC-University of Nebraska-Omaha at the Nebraska Business Development Center, we make good businesses better by providing consulting for business plan development, financial projections, market analysis, and training programs with a no fee based model. My education includes an MBA from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and a BA from Chadron State College. I earned the Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) Certification from the NDC. In Spring of 2022, I was honored to receive the University of Nebraska-Omaha Dean's Citation for outstanding service to the Nebraska Business Development Center. I have provided consulting services to small businesses in the sectors of retail, restaurant, service, tech and more. During my management career in real estate and as the SBDC Director, I have had extensive experience with the following areas: Interviewing/Hiring/Training, Strategic Planning, Human Resource Management, Revenue/Expense Budgets, Project Management, Leasing, Contract Negotiations, Lease Administration, Event Planning, Risk Management, Business/Marketing Plans, and Emergency Operations, Community support activities are very important to me. I've had many opportunities to contribute as a member of Omaha West Rotary, member of the Entrepreneurs Education Collaborative, presenter for the Boots2Business Program at Offutt Air Force Base, the Greater Omaha Chamber Buy Local Initiative, Executive Board of the Grow Grand Island Partnership, Chair of the Hall County Convention and Visitors Bureau Board, Third City Sertoma, volunteer coaching for Millard United Youth Baseball, ABCDD Girls Softball Coach, and Hall County Leadership Tomorrow to name a few.
