About Tony Serio

I joined American Management Association (AMA, a management training organization) as a Graphic Artist after receiving a MFA in fine art from Yale University School of Art. I started at AMA as a Graphic Artist working in the Periodicals Department where I produced Management Review magazine, journals and a host of monthly newsletters. I then started to work in the Marketing/Communications Department at AMA producing direct mail pieces. Over the years, my responsibilities have shifted from production to design starting with creating trade book interior designs for the AMACOM book division. Other AMA design projects include direct mail brochures, posters and ads. More recently, I have been producing the AMA catalog of seminars and related marketing materials. In addition to managing my own work, I have also art directed my fellow workers’ layouts or selected color schemes for their projects. I am versed in using InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and have the technical production skills to ensure jobs are ready for the printer on schedule. I also have the ability to take on multiple projects and see them through while working independently.
