I’m an Information Officer with 30 years of experience leading technology organizations in healthcare, financial services, telecom, and aviation. I specialize in building high-performing IT teams, delivering complex initiatives on time and on budget, and driving real operational and financial results.In my current role at San Francisco Health Plan, I lead a team of 56 IT professionals and have delivered meaningful impact across the organization — reducing the IT budget by $3.3 million, cutting Help Desk call volume in half through a modern ZScaler desktop solution, and delivering 40+ new systems in support of a new line of business. I’ve also rightsized the department thoughtfully, maintaining full service delivery throughout a significant organizational transition.Earlier in my career I built QA and Release Management practices from the ground up, led award-winning web experiences at Virgin America, and managed billing and network systems for companies like Wells Fargo, Excite@Home, and Telefónica across the US, Europe, and Latin America.I’m passionate about mentoring IT professionals, finding smarter ways to use technology, and helping organizations get more value from their IT investment.Open to connecting with leaders and organizations looking for experienced IT executives.
