About Toolika Ojha

I am a Public Policy & Research professional with interest in diversified areas in urban governance, WASH (water, sanitation, hygiene), local self-government and child rights. I have more than a decade of consulting and program implementation experience. My work involved interfacing with government, multilateral development agencies, funding organizations, social sector and academic institutions. Some key assignments undertaken include a) administering census and sample surveys across several cities to ascertain street children and identifying issues like child trafficking and abuse, b) conducting comprehensive qualitative & quantitative assessment of public services (Water, Roads, Health, Education, PDS) across multiple states in India, c) a study on devolution of power to Panchayati Raj Institutions in two Indian states, d) formulate policy and framework on rights-based advocacy. I have authored and published several articles and research papers on varied topics such as governance, public policy, and social development. My academic credentials include Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from a top institute and Masters in Statistics.
