Background
About Topaz McAuliffe
I am the CEO of 15 Times Better, we exist ‘to empower every organisation in Australia to make their greatest contribution to accelerating their impact with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and businesses.’ 15 Times Better is a First Nations business that specialises in First Nations strategy and program development, evaluation and plans that can be operationalised. We help Australian organisations align First Nations engagement to their core purpose, unlocking opportunities that deliver increased social and economic outcomes for First Nations peoples. Prior to this, I created and implemented Coles Group’s award-winning Indigenous affairs program, driving employment, supplier and customer strategies. Coles is now the largest private sector employer of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with over 4,800 team members and has been recognised by organisations including Fortune, United Nations and the Australian Human Right Commission. During my time at Coles, Indigenous supplier engagement increased for 10 consecutive years, with a particular focus on agriculture, aquaculture, fishing and native bush foods industry.
