A parent of three children, the eldest of whom has special needs, I work to help raise awareness of Swings and Smiles in Berkshire and the wider community. There are estimated to be over children with special needs in West Berkshire alone who will benefit from the Swings & Smiles facility and I am working alongside Sian Cook, the founder, to raise sufficient money to build, equip and run an indoor and outdoor recreational facility for children with special needs and their families. The charity is looking to transform the lives of families of children with special needs in West Berkshire.
