Torben is a founding director of GWB Entertainment. GWB has produced An American in Paris (Australia 2022), Girl From the North Country (Australia, New Zealand 2022), Jagged Little Pill (Australia 2021/22), School of Rock (Australia, China, Korea, NZ 2018/19), Matilda the Musical (International Tour 2018/19), West Side Story (Australia, NZ, Germany 2019), The King and I (West End 2018, Japan 2019), Ghost The Musical (Asia and Australia 2014-2016), Ultimate Broadway (Shanghai 2015, 2012, 2011), Avenue Q (Seoul 2013) and the Asian Tour of Disney's High School Musical (Hong Kong and China 2010, Taiwan 2011). Other roles have included, Chief Executive Officer at Theatre Royal Sydney (2020-2022), Deputy Executive Director at Adelaide Festival (2017-2019), General Manager & Executive Producer at Ambassador Theatre Group Asia Pacific (2014 - 2017), Executive Producer of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and Adelaide Festival Centre (2011-14). Producer at the Adelaide Festival of Arts (2011) and Acting General Manager for the Australian Festival for Young People (2011). From 2005-09, Torben founded and ran Arts Asia Pacific (AAP) producing the Australian / New Zealand premiere of Avenue Q (Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Auckland 2009/10), Metro Street (Adelaide, Daegu 2009), The Lonesome West (Sydney 2009), Celtic Legends (China Tour 2009 / 2010), We Will Rock You (Seoul 2008), La Fin Des Terres by Compagnie Philippe Genty (Taiwan 2009, Macau 2008, Hong Kong 2007), Slava’s Snowshow (Taiwan 2008, Korea 2008, Hong Kong, Shanghai 2007), Jesus Christ Superstar (Seoul, Busan 2007), Brad Little – in concert (Taiwan 2010, Seoul 2006). AAP also provided company management to the Asian Tour of The Phantom of the Opera (2004 - 2006).
