Assistant Producer/Producer/live producer specialising in live events. Starting out in PR and events lead me naturally over into production for large international sports OBs. Coordinating (on and off site) multiple shoots at once, often with large crews gave me an appreciation for the depth of organisation that live events require and the need for such crews to work seamlessly together. I have good knowledge of visas, permits, carnets, travel, hiring and live kit as well as how to feed a hungry crew in the middle of the night in a foreign country! I made the move over into editorial from production and worked in factual entertainment first as a researcher and then as an AP and casting AP. I am able to create a good and genuine rapport with contributors and pride myself on casting conscientiously, honestly and respectfully whilst keeping a close eye on the over all production goal. I genuinely love meeting and talking with members of the public and enjoy making people feel at ease so they can be their at their best. I now work freelance as a live producer and content producer for live events. I have covered many extreme sports (sailing, equestrian, ultra marathons, fitness events, crossfit) as well as tradeshows, music events, award ceremonies, conferences and more. Recently I live produced an advert for 02 that was played out on ITV during the Rugby World Cup. I adore the buzz that working at large events brings and love the atmosphere in a live gallery. I feel that I am at my best when busy out on the floor, talking to people, vox popping and looking for special moments to capture.
