Torria Payton is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, AMFT123106 working under the supervision of Yvonne Jackson, LMFT92389. Torria received her Master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling from Brandman University. Torria earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, San Bernardino. Torria’s experience stems from working with both adults and children. She is a former Career Counselor specializing in working with individuals with disabilities and veterans and their families. Torria has worked with difficult cases assisting those who have experienced homelessness and justice involvement and/or court ordered individuals to reintegrate back into society successfully. Torria experience includes assisting individuals with Posttraumatic stress disorder, anger management and Substance Use. She has worked as a Behavior Therapist for children on the Autism Spectrum. Utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis, Discreet Trail Training and Play therapy to assist children to thrive and meet their full potential. I believe that with support everyone has the ability to overcome any challenges because we are resilient. I am here to support you through your journey and am passionate to see the transformation of lives changed. Helping you to develop the skills needed to reach your goals are my priority. I am passionate about assisting others and work diligently to help shape their lives through mentoring, enrichment, motivational interviewing, and establishment of goals. I desire to help others obtain their goals and develop the skills needed to see their personal growth.
