Hello, I’m Toru, a software engineer with 5 years of experience across web application and data engineering. I started my career in frontend/backend web application development (Java, Spring, JavaScript, AWS) and later transitioned into data engineering. Currently, at GfK Japan(under NIQ), I manage databases and data warehouses, construct efficient data pipelines, and work with Python, Oracle, Snowflake, Tableau, and MS Azure. My role also includes collaborating with business stakeholders and engineers worldwide, and supporting system reliability through initiatives such as DDoS protection. I am passionate about continuous learning and always exploring new technologies to expand my expertise—for example, I built a mobile app with React Native as a personal project. Looking ahead, my goal is to evolve into a Software Engineer/Architect with a global impact, contributing to cutting-edge projects in diverse, international teams.
