About Tosca Sala
I grew up in a multicultural family in Italy. I studied ocean science in 5 different countries and obtained a joint master's degree from 3 European universities. I work as a Project Officer at European Marine Biological Resources Center (EMBRC), an ERIC established by the European Commission in 2018. I work on ocean observations, food system and open science. From June 2024, after an internship in 2022, I am also part of the Expert Group for the Antimicrobial Use in Aquaculture in World Organisation of Animal Health (WOAH). In my spare time I am an activist and a Youth4Ocean delegate of the DG MARE of the European Commission.
