About Toshiaki Morimoto
Born in 1994, I studied machine learning at Keio University's Faculty of Science and Technology. After completing my studies, I gained valuable experience in the field of AI through my work developing AI businesses under the management team of ABEJA, developing AI applications at PKSHA Technology, and researching and developing next-time prediction for videos using DeepLearning at Dwango AI Lab. In August 2017, I founded Tokyo-based AR entertainment startup, Graffity. We released several AR apps for consumers, including the world's first AR shooting game, Pechabato, which surpassed downloads without any advertising. Following the success of Pechabato, we launched Leap Trigger, another AR shooting game, on a global scale. Currently, I am leading the development of Graffity AR Studio, working with partner companies that focuses on creating use cases for AR. Our studio has an impressive list of clients including NTT Docomo, Bandai Namco, Qualcomm, and other major domestic and international corporations.
