About Tousif Alam

I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Manipal Academy of Higher Education Dubai. My passion for mechanical systems is what drove me to research and pick mechanical engineering as my major. As the ASHRAE Student Body Vice President MAHE Dubai for the year 2022-23, I had the honour to participate in various engineering competitions as well as organise them, which has helped me gain experience with working with a team of people as well as leading them. My ability to visualise and understand systems allows me to learn fast and understand complicated systems. I am also interested in electronics hardware and have experience in building personal computers, setting them up as well as troubleshooting problems. Analysing problems and coming to solutions is also something i've been sucessful in while working on solo projects as well as working in a team. Entering the professional world, I hope to put my accumulated experience and technical knowledge to good use and put innovation and sustainability first with all of my future projects.
