Background
About Tracee Tuesday
My Television and Radio career spans over 10 years. As a Reporter and Radio Personality, I’ve worked in a host of markets including: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Bend, Tucson and Omaha. Social Media has been a huge part of my daily life, updating the station’s social media and websites with daily, relevant and current content. A sports fan from very young, I was recruited to play flag football because of my speed and agility on the field. Talk about TERRIFIED to be the only girl on the football field! I pushed through! My family was there cheering me on at every game. I also ran track, was a cheerleader, played basketball, dodge ball and softball. I’m proud to have become the latest ‘CHAMPION’ advocate for Every Kid Sports, a national organization dedicated to helping kids from low-income families participate in youth sports so that they, too, can experience the positive benefits of playing! My passion for people and community rings true. I’m volunteering as a Storytime Reader, administered through the Deschutes Public Library. Read, Rhyme & Romp is a program designed to promote and demonstrate early literacy skills and activities while spreading the joy of READING to our children! It was super neat to have been nominated for the ‘Champion of Children’ award through Healthy Beginnings Central Oregon! I’ve had the pleasure of volunteering for numerous breast cancer charities such as The Golden State Warriors’ Women Save Lives Organization; I have also enjoyed opportunities reading to children through the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Book Pals Program. As I LOVE Space and Science, it was a natural fit to have volunteered my time to educate children on Science and Space Exploration through the Chabot Space & Science Center located in Oakland, California. It was an honor to participate in raising money for charities such as: the Ronald McDonald House and the Boys & Girls Club. I was once told that if my tenacious energy could be captured and bottled, someone would make a fortune! Voted 2021, 2020 & 2018 “Best Local Radio Personality” in Central Oregon from The Source Weekly, I attribute my successes (large and small) to the passion I have for: beauty, news, sports, music, food, travel and entertainment, which is why choosing a career as a Multimedia Journalist has been my calling! When I’m not working or, out in the community you can catch me: White Water Rafting, studying Astrobiology, Horseback Riding and, as a Foodie, checking out all the cool Eats around the town!
