About Tracey Bobrowicz

An experienced Assistant Librarian since 2004, I have had the privilege of working with students ranging from grades 6 to 12 in both public and private school libraries. Beginning my career in a public middle school and later transitioning to a 6-12 private school, I have collaborated closely with the head librarian to establish and maintain a dynamic and inclusive library program. Alongside my library duties, I also fulfill the role of Advanced Placement (AP) and SAT test coordinator. Every day, I find inspiration in the students I serve, and our team is dedicated to cultivating a library environment that is not only safe but also nurturing, where every student has the opportunity to flourish. We are committed to fostering critical thinking and research skills while nurturing a love for reading and exploration. In alignment with the principles outlined by the American Library Association, our library supports the Right to Read Act sponsored by Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) and Representative Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ-03). The Right to Read Act is designed to ensure all students, including low-income and minority students, children with disabilities, and English language learners, have access to an effective school library staffed by a certified school librarian. The library staff fully supports the principles of EDI when curating our fiction collection.
