Registered Nurse with 33 years of nursing experience in a wide variety of nursing specialties including hospitals (labor and delivery, newborn nursery, med-surg, emergency room and post partum), nursing homes (skilled unit including Case Management), a physician’s office, Assistant Director of Nursing for Long-term care and Director of Nursing at the largest Long-term care provider in the state of OK. 20 years as a clinical educator and involved in Risk Management. I am a self-motivated goal achiever striving to provide quality and dignified care to all patients in my care. Special technical skills include, but are not limited to the following: Excellent written and oral communication skills, type 50 WPM, competent assessment and nursing skills including IV therapy, thorough application of the nursing process, flexible in a wide variety of nursing areas, Certified Infection Control Preventionist with the OSDH, 20 of years of nurse management experience, skilled in the Title 19 Survey process in long-term care facilities, and proficient at developing plans of care specifically designed to meet individual patient’s needs and Point Click Care software utilization.
